Exam registrations for the IIT’s and other institutes will soon begin in India and many of my friends will come to me asking for help with compressing photos to the size limits specified on the application portal. On very rare occasions there will also be a minimum and maximum size limit set and such situations can be challenging. There are several photo compression software and web apps available but none of them allows you to compress the image to a specific size except for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. However, the feature is buried deep in the save for web option.
